Poonch is more than a pet care app, it’s a digital companion for pet parents. I helped redesign its experience to feel as warm, intuitive and trustworthy as your pup’s gaze.


By offering a one-stop platform for pet parents, covering everything from medical records to grooming appointments and food choices.


But the original app had... let’s just say more bark than bite.


Users found it hard to navigate, understand how activities were filtered, trust signals were lacking and the overall experience didn’t reflect the warmth and reliability pet parents look for.


In collaboration with the Founders, Developers & Veterinary Advisors, I designed these solutions in multiple phases and launched the app's redesign.

One of the founding members of Poonch reached out regarding the problem they were facing with their app that needs to be solved. Interested to understand more about the problem and provide a potential solution, I reached out to him.


We had some deep discussions, through which I understood the app's concept and problems users are experiencing. The app lacked clarity, making it hard for users to do even the simplest tasks with ease.


I prioritized the problems as follows:

  1. Homescreen requires User Interaction.

  1. Data Visualization for Monthly Insights with filter.

A delightful, intuitive experience that boosted trust and retention. Pet parents now open Poonch not out of need, but with joy.


Working with the team paved to better decisions at early stages to improve the overall user experience by introducing exciting features which in turn increased the user engagement.
